“Wheels from the Heart was created through God’s plan. It took a few years, but I realized that it is our heart that God truly wants; it is our heart that drives us to do what we do, and ultimately makes the decision to sin or to love.
Giving it all to Him from the heart is the most difficult and all-encompassing task–to give with no expectations and to be left with no control. Nonetheless, God desires our hearts, and I’ve given my whole heart to Him and to the creation of this company,” explains Steven Muschlitz, founder of the non-profit corporation: Wheels from the Heart.

Each of us is called to serve those around us given our individual time, talents, and treasures. Steven has done exactly this. After spending ten years as a car salesman, he decided that he needed to make a change. In his years at the dealership, countless women came to him needing a car but not having the funds to purchase one. Women who needed to take their children to school but could barely afford to put dinner on the table; women who so desperately wanted to work but could not find a way to get from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’ in time for their shift; women who had to decide between setting up a college fund for their child or owning a vehicle to buy groceries so that same child would not go hungry. These women are in painfully unfortunate situations that most of us will never understand, and Steven took it upon himself to make a change for them.
With the intervening of God’s strong hand, the help of others, and a strong passion for helping this woman, Steven got Wheels from the Heart rolling. The organization uses proceeds from car sales to subsidize the everyday life of underprivileged women who are constantly struggling to juggle the stress of unpaid bills, schoolwork, and their beloved small children. When it got tough for Steven, God reminded him that He was in full support, and introduced him to Family Promise. Family Promise is an organization that also helps women in need with housing, and together the two organizations could be stronger than ever.
One young woman in particular, named Aquira, was attending nursing school, as well as taking care of her son, Quin. “She was sharing a car with her mother, sister and herself. She was also juggling her school work, loving Quin and getting him to daycare. There was no time for herself and Quin and could not attend any after school activities. She was on the verge of quitting. We were able to provide her with a car. We were blessed to see her graduate a few weeks ago and we received the news she passed her state exam. She will now be a nurse in our community. How many people will she now be able to help and love on.” The staff at Wheels from the Heart received a beautiful letter from Aquira, expressing her appreciation and gratitude on how it has change her and her son’s life.
This organization continues to bless women in many different communities. Wheels from the Heart offers a loyal, trustworthy environment to women by listening to their situation and helping meet their needs. Steven also hopes to see in the near future, this mission organization as part of a large dealership network.
